A booking fee will apply to each purchase. The booking fee is non-refundable.
How can I purchase a ticket?

Tickets will only be available for purchase online or by physically presenting at our office.
I don’t want to purchase an online ticket. How can I buy a ticket?
You can come to the Mount Gambier Showgrounds Secretary office during the following dates and times.
Tuesday October 12th 10 am – 12 pm
Wednesday October 13th 12 pm – 2 pm
Thursday October 14th 10 am – 12 pm
CASH only accepted. No other dates or times for ticket purchases will be permitted.
What are the session times?
Friday October 22nd 10 am – 4 pm
Saturday October 23rd 9 am – 3 pm
Saturday October 23rd 4 pm – 10 pm
Are there different prices for different sessions?
No, all session prices are the same.
I have a companion card. Do I get a ticket at a concession rate?
No. You will need to purchase an adult ticket.
Concession tickets are only for concession card holders.
Do I need to show proof of my age/concession for my ticket at the gate?
You may be requested to provide proof of your age and/or concession type.
You can be declined access to the event if you do not have proof.
Do I need to print out my ticket?
No. You do not have to print out your ticket – although you can.
Be sure to have the confirmation email with QR code available on your device if not printing out your ticket.
I’ve lost my ticket. I need to change my ticket. I have a ticket query.

Do I have to wear a face mask?
As per current SA Health COVID regulations children aged 12 and above need to wear a face mask.

It is a condition of SA health that any patrons without a mask must hold a valid medical exemption certificate and must be able to produce the certificate when required.
If you cannot produce a copy of your current medical exemption you will be refused entry.
You do not need to wear a mask when you are seated for eating and drinking.
You MUST wear a mask in all other sections of the Showgrounds.
I don’t want to wear a face mask.
You will not be permitted entry to the Mount Gambier Showgrounds if you do not hold a medical exemption (see point above).
Will I need to check-in via a QR code?
Yes, you will need to check-in via a QR code. Download the mySA GOV app ( https://www.covid-19.sa.gov.au/business-and-events/covid-safe-check-in) before you arrive and check-in outside the gates.
If you need to sign-in using a pen and paper, you may do so at the sign in desk at the gate.

How can I move around the Showgrounds safely?
Try to avoid touching stair rails, door handles and other touch points. Sanitise your hands regularly and always do so before eating.
Will there be hand sanitiser?
Yes, hand sanitiser stations are at all entrances and throughout the grounds. Patrons are encouraged to wash their hands before and after using the bathroom and to sanitise frequently.
To avoid queues and congestion, we recommend patrons bring their own as well.
How can I keep myself and others safe?
We all have a part to play in keeping the Mount Gambier Showgrounds COVIDSafe:
Stay home if you are feeling unwell.
Wash your hands often and cover coughs and sneezes in your arm.
Wear a mask and keep 1.5m from others wherever possible.
Use the COVIDSafe check-in QR Code when you arrive.
Follow the advice of all staff, volunteers and traders.
If your health is vulnerable, talk to your doctor about what is appropriate for you.
If you develop any cold or flu symptoms after the event, PLEASE get tested for COVID-19
How are the Showgrounds complying with social distancing requirements?
All staff, volunteers, exhibitors, traders and patrons are reminded to keep at least 1.5m wherever possible. Maximum capacities are in place for all areas of the showgrounds.
If the event is cancelled will I receive a refund?
Yes, you will receive a refund – minus any booking fees.
