Show Attractions & Program
From traditional favourites to thrilling new entertainment, trade stalls, competitions, and family fun, there’s something for everyone at this year’s event.

This year we proudly celebrate the theme “Timber and Traditions: 150 Years of Forestry in South Australia” with a showcase of forestry history and skills. Watch master chainsaw sculptor Rob Bast create works of art before your eyes, explore timber milling and logging displays, and cheer on the competitors in the Log Chop Championship, including a spectacular main arena showcase on Saturday evening.

If it’s horsepower you’re after, buckle up for the headline event – the Holden vs Ford V8 Ute Challenge. Two Aussie icons go head-to-head in a high-octane showdown of noise, speed, and rivalry that will leave the crowd roaring!

The action doesn’t stop there – test your skills on the mechanical bull with free rides daily or enter the Moreland Holdings Mechanical Bull Competition on Saturday from 4pm for your chance to win big cash prizes (16 years+). Families can also enjoy Burrungle Park Laser Tag, Rev It Up Racing, the Elders Animal Nursery, SES demonstrations, Bunnings craft activities, circus workshops, Flying Flamingos, and free face painting.

And of course, no show is complete without the classics: sideshows, show bags, horse events, working dog trials, livestock judging, horticulture and cookery competitions, caged birds, dog show, indoor exhibits, vintage engines, roving entertainers, and the ever-popular Show Trail.

Saturday night will bring the show to life with a precision driving display by the South East Automobile Club, a working dog demonstration, the final round of the Holden vs Ford Ute Challenge, and the Log Chop spectacular, all capped off with a breathtaking fireworks finale.
