Rob Bast Chainsaw Sculptor

We’re thrilled to announce that the incredible chainsaw sculptor, Rob Bast, will be gracing our show with his extraordinary artistry! Visitors to this year’s Mount Gambier Spring Show will be treated to a spectacular display of skill and creativity, with award-winning chainsaw sculptor Rob Bast joining the entertainment line-up.

Based in the Yarra Valley, Rob has been sculpting since 2003 and has competed at events across Australia and overseas. His work spans wood, steel, stone and ice, with commissions and competition wins that showcase his versatility and talent.

At the Show, Rob will be performing live speed carvings, transforming raw timber into striking works of art in just a few hours. His creations range from animals and birds through to intricate figurative pieces, each carved with remarkable precision using only a chainsaw.

This unique attraction is not to be missed and promises to be a highlight of the Show program.
